RAD was born from a bold dream to celebrate Haitian heritage and Caribbean excellence through fashion. Founded in Atlanta, Georgia, RAD stands for Revolutionary Art and Design, and it’s more than a brand—it’s a cultural statement. Our founder envisioned a space where creativity, identity, and legacy collide, giving voice to a new generation of proud, conscious creatives. Every stitch, print, and color tells a story—our story.
Our Path
We collaborate with skilled Caribbean artists to create one-of-a-kind apparel that blends tradition with contemporary edge. Our exclusive artisan garments are handmade, never duplicated, and designed to honor the soul of Caribbean art. From custom embroidery to culturally inspired graphics, each piece is a wearable canvas—a testament to the power of craftsmanship and the richness of our roots.
RAD
RAD is a movement rooted in love for community and the strength of cultural identity. We don’t just sell clothes—we represent resilience, pride, and unity. Our collections feature Haitian proverbs, national symbols, and legendary icons, aiming to uplift and inspire communities around the globe. Through storytelling, collaborations, and giving back, we create fashion that fuels connection and celebrates where we come from.
Meet Our Founder
Renelson Alexis, born and raised in Haiti, has always carried his culture with pride. He found himself searching for a creative way to stay connected to his roots while making an impact through fashion. That vision came to life through a single word: “RAD”—the Haitian Creole word for clothes. For Renelson, this word symbolized more than just fabric; it represented identity, history, and pride woven into every stitch.
